DigiLocker is a flagship initiative of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) under Digital India Programme. National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is a non-profit company under MeitY which assists and supports MeitY in the Digital India Programme's Program Management in order to transform India into a digitally empowered society and informative economy. To execute designated tasks it employs Professionals from Private Sector and Deputations from Government for the requisite skills. Last date to apply for the post is till 17th May, 2021.
The period of employment depends upon the project durations and the selected candidate should achieve the responsibilities within agreed time frames for the best satisfaction of Management of NeGD. The candidates should be able to work at alternate locations within India as required by NeGD.
Posts to apply are:
For API Setu,
1) Front end Developer: Candidate should have 3+ years of experience on designing web applications and should have any University degree.
2) Software Engineer: 7+ years of hands on experience in software development and any of the university degree is required.
3) Software Development Manager: More than 15 years of experience or 7+ years of software development experience with 5+ year of experience in leading and managing strong engineering teams of 10+ engineers is required. Candidates should also have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
4) Technical Support Engineer: Any University degree with 5 years of experience in software development is required.
For DigiLocker/NAD,
1) Back end Engineer - Kafka/ Spark: Any university degree with prior knowledge on programming languages and experience using Kafka, Kinesis and Spark streaming is required.
2) Front end Developer: Candidates with Degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of professional experience on designing consumer or SaaS applications can apply.
3) DigiLocker Developer: Graduates with excellent analytical and SW development skills can apply for the post. Candidates with 1-5 years of experience in Software development for any Startup or Product Company or freshers with some good internship exposures or good knowledge in SW development language can apply.
4) DigiLocker System Administrator: 7+ years of experience and B. Tech/ B.E in Computer Science/IT or MCA is required for the post.
