Intel has announced its NUC (Next Unit Computing) M15 Laptop Kit formerly codenamed Bishop County which is looking to change the whitebook market. The new Laptop kit, fully designed by Intel, is powered by its 11th Gen Intel Core mobile processor. This announcement comes soon after Apple announced its own M1 chips to power the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro which earlier depended on intel for its processors. Intel is now compelled to push their limits in making more advanced processors as Apple is beginning to take its strides in the market that they used to control before.

This Intel NUC M15 is not a laptop that can be purchased by customers directly. This is a part of whitebook market, which means Intel is aiming at manufacturers that want to easily sell a notebook to customers without sinking too much cash into research and development. Intel is looking to set the standards and specifications for what to expect in laptops.

The laptop has a 15.6 inch display, is 0.6 inches thick and weighs under 1.7 kg. The company also claims that the 73 watt-hour battery will provide 16 hours of video playback. The ports include USB Type-A, ThunderBolt 4 and a headphone jack. Intel hasn't said anything about the pricing. This is likely up to the vendors that sell the systems under their own names.
