Larsen & Toubro conglomerate, proudly announced that they had achieved India's first fully 3D printed two-storey building. The benefit of the technology is that construction space can be fully utilised and it will become a huge impact on many industries. It is a building block for multi floored buildings. The two-storey building covers 7000sqft build up area and entirely 3D printed as "cast in situ" project (building materials built in site). The 3D automated printer consumed 106 working hours for the construction. And it's nearly 4 and a half days it worked continuously.  This regulates the working hours and reduces human works shift timings etc. This will be affordable by considering of cost, quality, and speedy construction.

3D printing not only speed up the work, but also increases the durability of the house which was claimed by MV Satish, senior executive vice President at L&T construction. The base material ( input material for 3D printer) is described as " a special, in-house developed concrete mix using indigenously available regular construction materials" by the company.

L&T company hardly believes that it's 3D printing achievement will be a considerable mark in the Indian central government's 'housing for all' plan for 2022 - building 60 billion house for under privileged. The 3D printing initiates the future constructions.
