Amazon already promised to create a million new jobs in India by 2025. As its part Amazon planning to launch Computer Science education program in India. The initiative is aimed to help students learn coding and computer. Although location for job will be Amazon India headquarters at Bengaluru, and this program is likely to go live across the country.
CEO Jeff Bezos announced company's investment of $1 billion (roughly Rs. 7,319Crores) in the country to digitise small and medium business in the country.
Amazon current working had to expand its e-commerce business in the country. According to data provided by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) there are more than 1.5 million schools and 250 million children in the country. That was the reason behind to a company like Amazon to look at the country's education system to boost it's business.
In July last year, Amazon launched an app called JEE Ready, which was recently rebranded as Amazon Academy. It is designed to help students prepare for Indian engineering test, IIT-JEE.
Similar to Amazon, companies including Google , Microsoft have shown their interest in Indian students. It become a great news to who all are focusing new exciting jobs.
