Samsung has introduced a new robot named Bot Handy, that can serve you a drink as well as help you in other household works. It uses advanced Artificial Intelligence to perform these tasks.
The robot is tall, thin and black-and-white in colour with a single arm. The cameras are mounted on the top of its body and hand for recognising objects.
It can help you pick up plates after meals, load dishwasher, set table and keep groceries and laundry in place.
It can identify the material and composition of an object thus determining the appropriate amount of the force required to grab and move the object. It uses advanced AI to identify and pick up objects of varying sizes, shapes and weights, thus being an extension of you.
Samsung has demonstrated an updated version of BotCare.
It believes that this can also be used as a personal assistant that can suggest users to take break from work and remind them of scheduled meetings. It uses AI to observe the behaviour and habits of the users and respond accordingly.
