NHAI internship 2021 offers 5000 internship opportunities for engineers in association with the National Highways Authority of India at various locations such as New Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Haryana and Punjab. Selected candidates with relevant skills and interests will be available for a period of two months and will be paid a stipend of Rs 5000. Interns will also get a certificate on their successful completion of internship. Selected interns will be expected to contribute in the functioning of NHAI through their inputs such as empirical analysis, reports, papers, research through data and feedback collected during field visits.
Perks
- Students pursuing Graduation/Post-Graduation/Research in Civil Engineering from AICTE affiliated Institutions or any recognised University/Institution within India and are currently in the final year or pre-final year/semester of their course.
- Should have obtained overall 70% marks or equivalent grade in all the previous yearly/semester examinations and no backlogs (re-appears) of any subjects.
Who can apply?
Only those candidates who are from B.Tech./B.E. and specialisation from Civil Engineering and are available for a duration of 2 Months.
Important Guidelines to be followed:
- Applicants will have to produce a letter from their supervisor, HOD or principal indicating their status in that institution and ‘No Objection’ certificate in order to allow the students to pursue their internship.
- Interns must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance during their internship and in case if, less than 75% attendance, no extension of internship period will be allowed and experience certificate will not be issued.
- Students need to submit a copy of the project report to their controlling or reporting officer in NHAI at the end of the Internship.
- Interns will have to arrange their laptops and accommodation.
