Google's 'True Pixel Story' commercial series highlights its safety features.

Google launches its latest video series of 'True Pixel Story', highlighting safety features like car crash detection along with live captions. First introduced with Pixel 4 in 2019, Car crash detection can automatically call 911 if you are in a vehicle accident.
The Crash that called - Chris's true Pixel story
Chris was riding his car in a less familiar path after grabbing a lunch in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, with his family. Unfamiliar with the road, they stumbled upon a Y shaped road and suddenly was hit by a truck. His Google Pixel detected the car crash and luckily, nobody was injured, luckily.
I such incidents, the Pixel starts vibrating and loudly rings helping the user contact the emergency services. The user will then be able to say 'Emergency' or can tap on the screen button to immediately make a call over speakers. If the user fails to respond in 60 seconds, Google will automatically dial and the phone will say that "a car crash happened" and share the then current location.
The feature makes use of the combination of location, motion sensors and microphones to detect a possible crash and has been made available in the Pixel 3, 4, 4a, 5G and 5 in the US, UK and Australia.
First call with my son- Matthew's Pixel story
55 year old Matthew, who was born deaf used to communicate with his son Harry, who was in another country through lip reading and video chats. Hearing aids failed to help him. He then tried out the 'Live Captions' in the Google Pixel, and for the first time in his life, he made a phone call to his son. "You don't feel left out, everybody feels the same". Said Matthew.

The Live Captions when turned on, subtitles the audio playing in the device and Pixel phone calls; without the need of an internet connection.
