Apple gets patent for it's new iPhone case which as built in AirPods receptacle charger. On 12th January, U S Patent and Trademark Office officially granted Apple patent for this is possibly launching for next-gen iPhones.
As per reports by Patently Apple, this new charging mode will be implemented in 3 ways. New design will hold AirPod in cavities of case. Cavities position are explained to be either at top or inside flip cover or rear of the case. Charging process will occur through charging module on the top in the cavity.
On other designs charging may not always occur through wireless more itself. I may occur either by MagSafe. Or by battery or any other special arrangements. However while designing process it's shape, size, aesthetics and cost will be too plays there role.
For sure it will never failure the basic purpose, protecting gadget, but at the same will be ornamental too. It's an awaited product, and is more useful as AirPod user's who gives really least care about it.
