For the past 10 years, number of messaging apps have grown. Among these messaging apps WhatsApp has dominated the most, iMessages for iOS devices and Signal which has recently received the limelight are among the popular messaging apps. Even popular social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram whose primary purposes are different, are also providing the facility to exchange messages. For keeping the track of messages by shuffling between these apps has become quite tough.

The new app focuses on solving this issue. On Friday, Pebble CEO and founder, Eric Migicovsky took twitter to announce that he has been working on an app called Beeper, which will merge iMessage, WhatsApp and 13 other such apps to a single platform. The apps which are getting merged include eye catching names like Instagram, Telegram, Signal and Twitter among others.

Migicovsky mentioned that the Beeper has been his default chat client for the past two years and now the app is available on Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS and Android. He tweeted that he has been working on Beeper for a while and they are launching it now. It works as a single app to chat on iMessage, WhatsApp and 13 other apps. It has been used as his default chat client for the past couple of years.

The biggest opposition Migicovsky facing is to make iMessage work on Android, Windows and Linux using some trickery.

How Beeper is going to work?

Migicovsky said that he would send users jailbroken iPhones with Beeper app installed so that it can help to get bridged with iPhone. Those who have Mac app, will act as a bridge. It is being built on Matrix open source project which let developers write 'bridges' Matrix other chat networks like WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Skype and more.

The merging apps include:
