Space agencies of India and France namely, ISRO and CNES; had unveiled a joint version for launching Gaganyaan Mission. As per the agreement signed by both agencies, they are on a move to launch India's first human space mission, which will help Indian flight physicians to train at French facilities.
The agreement announced at ISRO Bengaluru comprises of following features:
- CNES will help Indian astronaut for the mission accomplishment
- They will exchange information on food packaging and nutrition programme
- Provide French equipment, consumables and medical instruments for ISRO crew
Gaganyaan orbital spacecraft project was to be fulfilled in 2018 August. But the mission has been delayed due to corona pandemic.

India also signed an agreement with Russia for the purpose of training 4 astronaut for Gaganyaan Mission.
This cooperation could be extended in future to parabolic flights operated by Novespace to test instruments and for astronaut training, as well as technical support for construction of an astronaut training centre in Bangalore.- CNES
