After rolling out a lot of new features this week, WhatsApp is now working on a new set of features. The messaging app is speculated to be working on a Read Later and Mute Video. WhatsApp this month has released some of most anticipated features including the WhatsApp Pay, Disappearing Messages feature, enhance storage tool and others. The upcoming feature that WhatsApp is developing has appeared on one of the beta updates. The next feature, available in a future update, will allow muting videos before sending to contact or your status updates.
WhatsApp was speculated to be working on a feature that would let users report unwanted chats or groups on the app. WhatsApp will let you file reports similar to how you can report accounts on Facebook that you find suspicious or fake.
WhatsApp will only take proper action against the reported account after necessary verification. In order to test this feature out, beta users will have to update their WhatsApp beta app for Google Play Store.
This feature is similar to the report option you get on other social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook and others. However, WhatsApp will verify the report using various means and then take action against the reported contact.
WhatsApp has been working on multi-device support for the longest time now. The feature once implemented would let users log in to a single account from four different devices.
