World's leading messaging app with more than 2 billion active users says bye from older versions of Android and iOS. WhatsApp's service is no longer available in mobile phone with OS lower than Android 4.03 OS or iOS 9.

Facebook owned messaging app stated this by updating their FAQ page. Service on these phones can only be availed if they update their OS to desired. 

Android phone including HTC Desire, LG Optimus Black, Motorola Droid Razr and Samsung Galaxy S2 will no longer support WhatsApp. iPhone 4 and earlier will no more support it.

Last year WhatsApp stopped it's working on phone's with OS lower than Android 2.3.7 or iOS 8.

However WhatsApp will continue for selected phones with KaiOS 2.5.1 OS or newer including JioPhone and JioPhone 2.
